For a parish community member the Holy Confession often considered as a form of counseling but technically and canonically this is not correct and may not be providing complete solution for the person in distress. Please read on the introduction which followed by more theoretical studies to have an insight into counseling and its objectives. Soon we will be introducing the subject in a Christian perspective with more focus on the specific issues relevant to the contemporary world and our community in general.

The topics are prepared by an internationally acclaimed consultant, who doesn’t want to be revealed his name in this forum and took this profession as a mission of his life. He leads a team of professionals in many countries and they conduct live seminars and workshops and listen to individuals in distress that lead to a new lease of life to many.

Focusing our community we arranged the modules in such a way that an individual is able to directly interact in absolute privacy with a counselor (Expert Consultant) from the specially constituted panel of experts. Here you can specifically choose a subject to address any one of the issues that concerns you viz. De-addition, Family, Spiritual, Students/teenage, Medical/ Health related issues etc.

 

HELP DESK

IMPORTANT: Currently HELP DESK module is for testing purpose only & is now under configuration- Not to be used for any real cases - web Administrator.

How it works: Help Desk is a secured feature for one-to-one interaction. This is being done without disclosing the personal identity between a Client and an Expert Consultant in absolute privacy. The access is only after login to the website.

Here the issues and finding resolutions are important, not the persons involved. Therefore, the identity  the of Client and the Expert Consultant are not revealed unless voluntarily disclosed themselves.

How to Access: A logged in user can find the ‘Help Desk’ module along with the individual menus in the righthand side  pane in ‘Counseling Home’ page. Choose a category by clicking an appropriate menu link.

New Subject: A user can type a new subject under a chosen category and the system automatically generates a case ref. No. The case will be attended by a General Consultant who first examines the issue. Based on its merit of the case he assigns the job to an Expert Consultant. Further communications will be done exclusively between the client and the Expert Consultant.

Existing cases & follow up: The text typed by a Client in the message box will be available immediately to the assigned member of the Experts Panel. If find it necessary he may reply and will be made available back in the Client’s inbox. Whenever there is a response, the system generates alert notifications to the other party concerned informing him/her to login to the website to view & process the message further. Unless & until the Expert Consultant closes the specific case under reference, this mutual consultation process can continue.
